the cobra detects prey by flicking out it's tongue to collect scents from the air. Inside the mouth the tongue passes over the Jacobson's organ, a receptor that analyzes different scents.

Today I am going to start writing about other animals today I am going to do the king cobra's fangs the snakes hollow fangs grow to a length 1/2 a inch it punches them into it's prey like hypodermic needles and injects a powerful venom
